Declutter a room or workspace.

I don’t know about you guys, but I am NOTORIOUS for piling papers up on any table or desk. I will literally have a pile of mail on the dining room table and it will sit there for quite some time (I know my bills’ due dates off-hand). Maybe about once a month I will sort it all out and file it away. Don’t ask me why I do this. Recently, I migrated everything to my desk. So for this day, I decided to clean up my desk which is where I do homework, video editing, and work that I do at home. I did, in fact, have a pile of bills that I forgot to file away. I also had two journals, pens, colored pencils, a stencil, gift cards from Christmas, a written up edit for a vlog I never posted, and a book of recipes all on my desk. Needless to say, I filed those bills and cleaned up the pens and pencils, and put my two journals neatly together with the pack of pens on top. Lets see how long I can make my desk stay clean.

Who else isn’t on top of their paper mail?

  1. Oh sometimes I can’t even relax or focus until things are picked up! It’s like either I don’t let it bother me or I become almost obsessive-once I start cleaning I can’t stop! Lol.

  2. I am the exact same way. I’ll let things go if I’m not in the mood and then one day I’ll just organize, deep clean, and sort everything. Lol 🙂
