Practice saying “no” to things you don’t like or don’t want to do.
I don’t feel like I got much of an opportunity today to say “no” to anything. I was mainly home. I got sick in the middle of the night so I didn’t sleep much. Once my alarm went off in the morning to get ready for work, I decided I wasn’t going in. I was too exhausted and I still didn’t feel 100% better. Wednesdays are usually chaotic in the office at work, so I would normally make myself go in at least for a couple of hours. Honestly, I felt so crappy in the morning, that I forgot it was Wednesday and that I was needed at work. Regardless, I took the day to catch up on sleep and start feeling better so I could make it to work for Thursday and Friday.
